Personal travel advisor
A travel advisor based in Ontario, helping families, couples, groups, and busy travellers turn big vacation ideas into thoughtful, well-matched trips with honest guidance, careful details, and support from start to suitcase.
Why use an advisor
The best trips are not one-size-fits-all. You bring the wish list, the occasion, the budget, the must-haves, and maybe one resort you saw online at 1:00 a.m. We help turn all of that into a plan that actually fits.
From family-friendly all-inclusives to romantic escapes, cruises, Europe itineraries, and group trips, we look at the details that actually matter — so your vacation feels exciting, not like a part-time research job.
Travel styles
01
Adults-only escapes, private villas, overwater bungalows, European city stays, anniversaries, and celebration trips with the right mix of romance, ease, and “oh, this is exactly us.”
02
All-inclusive resorts, Disney vacations, beach weeks, kid-friendly stays, and family trips planned around real-life logistics — naps, snacks, transfers, room setups, and everyone’s tolerance for chaos.
03
Custom routes, bucket-list cities, local food, markets, culture, soft adventure, trains, neighbourhood exploring, and days that feel full without being aggressively scheduled.
04
Ocean and river cruises, friend trips, destination weddings, family groups, and multi-generational travel where everyone has opinions and someone needs to keep the plan sane.
Meet Charlene
I’m the travel advisor behind When Pink Flies, based in Ontario and helping families, couples, groups, and busy travellers plan vacations with care, honesty, and a serious eye for the little details.
I’m a mom, wife, small business owner, and lifelong overthinker of the “but is this resort actually good?” variety. Before becoming a travel advisor, I spent years running my stationery and gifting business, More Than Just Paper, where details, timelines, personalization, and getting things right mattered every single day.
That same energy follows me into travel planning. I care about the things that can completely change the feel of a trip: the room category, resort layout, transfer time, flight schedule, beach quality, dining options, kid-friendliness, pace, budget, and whether the trip actually fits the people going on it.
My travel style is realistic, detail-loving, and deeply food-motivated. I love beautiful resorts, bucket-list cities, street food, markets, local experiences, and trips that feel memorable without being overpacked.
When you work with me, you’re not just getting someone to book a trip. You’re getting someone who will ask the extra questions, compare the details that matter, and care about whether the vacation actually feels right for you.
Let’s turn that bucket list into a boarding pass.
How it works
Relaxed, romantic, adventurous, food-focused, celebratory, restorative, kid-friendly, adults-only, or “I just need everyone to have a good time and nobody to cry in an airport.” We start with what the trip should actually feel like.
I compare the options beyond the pretty photos — resort layout, room categories, flight times, transfers, dining, beach quality, family fit, inclusions, supplier details, and the tiny things that can make or break a trip.
You’ll have organized details before departure and a real person behind the scenes if plans need adjusting. The goal is for you to feel prepared, supported, and excited — not like you accidentally became your own travel department.
Let’s turn your bucket list into a boarding pass.

Even if all you have is a destination, a vibe, and a budget, send it my way. We’ll figure out the rest.
